Winter is coming… so it’s time to get your furnace checked!

Furnaces, like water heaters, A/Cs, garbage disposals, etc. are out of sight, out of mind. We use them for half the year and ignore them the rest, no real inspection or analysis of their efficiency or minor problems that may have developed. But, minor problems become major problems, and yearly inspections can prevent those major problems occurring when it’s -30! Yearly furnace inspections are best done before you’re relying on them, and now’s that time. When we inspect your furnace, here’s what we’re looking for:

• damaged seals or blockages
• unresponsive safety controls
• cracked belts or pulleys
• mushroomed capacitors
• inefficient combustion analysis
• gas leaks
• dirtied flame sensor, heat exchange, or combustion analyzer

We can fix all of these, but sometimes the pros aren’t necessary. Before you call, if you’re having trouble heating your house check your exhaust vent for snow blockage, your air filters, and your registers inside the home to make sure it’s not a simple, FREE fix! Once you’ve confirmed it’s a furnace issue, let us know… we’re on our way!
